Drafter candidates must have 1-3 years experience, daily activities include creating project plans, specifications, technical drawings, sketches, renderings, existing conditions drawings, field measuring, and code analysis. Successful candidates will be involved in knowledge areas to test for an architectural license.

Experience working with wood frame, mixed use and hospitality projects is a plus but not required.

Project Architect candidates must have 3 – 7 years of experience, responsibilities include creating construction documents including drawings, specifications, code compliance plans, details, cost estimates, and project designs. This role involves working with other architects and engineering consultants to complete projects. Successful candidates will be experienced in all project phases – schematic designs through the completion of construction and be required to maintain project schedule and quality control.

Senior Project Architect candidates must have 10+ years of experience responsibilities include coordinating project teams in our New York office from conceptual design through construction document and the building permit process. Successful candidate will manage client relationships, team communication and will be responsible for reviewing other architects work and quality control.

Construction Management

Responsible for planning and execution of development projects (Hotels, Resorts & Mixed Use Developments). The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, engineers, architects and contractors to ensuring construction of projects is on time and held to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all construction activities including development projects and asset enhancement projects for the company.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building automation systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret and review blue prints, drawings/shop drawings and construction documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Advise the technical feasibility and development potential during pre-acquisition stage of properties and prepare preliminary cost estimates.
  • Responsible for construction project management from initial planning, design development, tender, construction implementation to completion.
  • Negotiate and supervise the preparation of contracts, as well as to administer the execution of contracts during the entire development period.
  • Conduct periodic on-site supervision to ensure the staffing and site control is adequate, monitor the performance of site staff and ensure quality of works; Field Reports & photos.
  • Monitor, report and improve the quality of construction/retro-fit projects
  • Review and evaluate the technical quality of properties being considered for investment or occupancy.
  • Shop Drawing document review process.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field in construction
  • Strong management skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Travel Required (50%-70%)
  • A minimum of 5-year experience in the field of construction with exposure to project management
  • Candidates will have worked directly with architects, project owners, and/or construction manager representatives in a similar role.
